（中央社紐約2日綜合外電報導）「華爾街日報」（WSJ）引述執法官員的話報導，曾在奧斯卡金獎稱帝的男星菲力普西蒙霍夫曼，今天被人發現死在他紐約市的公寓中。

華爾街日報報導說，紐約警方（NYPD）正進行相關調查，法醫當局則決定勘驗菲力普西蒙霍夫曼（PhilipSeymour Hoffman）的死因。

菲力普西蒙霍夫曼2005年擔綱演出已故同性戀作家柯波帝的傳記電影「柯波帝：冷血告白」（Capote），入木三分的演技讓他勇奪奧斯卡最佳男主角獎。

他也曾3度入圍奧斯卡獎，角逐最佳男配角獎。1030203
