駐甘比亞武官王先民 遭逢父喪仍堅守崗位

我國與甘比亞斷交，但援助甘比亞的軍方人員都不敢鬆懈，仍在當地待命堅守崗位。國防部指出，我駐甘比亞武官王先民上校父親於本月十六日辭世，但正值我國與甘國外交事務燃眉之際，他雖得知父親病逝噩耗，但仍強忍喪父之痛，繼續留駐甘國處理軍務，沒有返台奔喪。陸軍司令李翔宙上將昨日代表國防部長嚴明，第一時間前往喪家中悼祭致哀，希望家屬節哀並保重；對於王上校公而忘私的精神，也表達肯定。
