《美國經濟》初領失業金增加一萬人高於預期

美國勞工部5月30日公佈，經季節調整後，截至5月25日為止當週，首次申請失業救濟金人數較前週上修值344,000增加10,000人至354,000人。根據彭博社與道瓊斯通訊社的調查，經濟學家的預估值為34萬人。上週首次申請失業救濟金人數的4週移動平均值較前週修正值增加6,750人至347,250人。

截至5月18日為止當週，經季節調整後，連續申請失業救濟金人數較前一週的修正值增加63,000人至2,986,000人。當週連續申請失業救濟金人數的4週移動平均值較前一週的修正值減少11,500人至2,986,500人。截至5月18日為止當週，經過季節性因素調整後的保險失業率較前週持平為2.3%。

彭博社報導，美國勞工部發言人表示，受到週初陣亡將士紀念日長週末假期的影響，包括維吉尼亞、懷俄明、夏威夷、明尼蘇達與奧勒岡等五個州的數據為估計值。Pierpont Securities LLC首席經濟學家Stephen Stanley表示，美國企業在增加員額的部分仍相當謹慎，這使得經濟的復甦還未走上正常的軌道。
