陶子工作忙，要主持中視《努比亞華人星光大道３》，每周到大陸３天擔任湖南衛視《快樂男聲》評審，暑假結束前，趁空檔和全家到峇里島度假，但她無奈地說：「生了孩子後，就得多陪他們，我們每天就是游泳、陪孩子、再游泳。」

她笑說：「只有一件事讓我開心，我和老公在峇里島提前慶祝結婚周年！」兩人2005年９月11日結婚，如今已過８年，她說：「為了忙孩子，一有閒就去吃燭光晚餐，大嗑生蠔、喝香檳。」她幸福滿足。

《華星３》選手高藝溱日前在節目中透露母親在禮儀公司上班，陶子見狀要她來段司儀吟詠，「我們現場就來一段獻給袁惟仁，小胖老師！」袁臉一陣青、一陣白，笑翻全場。
