曼德拉出院返家　醫療團隊貼身照料

【綜合報導】南非總統辦公室9月1日發表聲明，指南非前總統曼德拉已於當天早上離開普瑞托利亞（Pretoria）醫院，返回家中。聲明還說曼德拉目前「病情嚴重，且不穩定」，他將在家裡繼續接受治療。
 
另根據南非新聞聯盟報道，曼德拉出院的決定是由家屬決定。南非總統辦公室的聲明也說，曼德拉的醫療團隊將一同前往他位於約翰尼斯堡的住所。醫療團隊將確保曼德拉在家中所接受的特殊醫療照顧與醫院一樣。萬一曼德拉病情加重，醫療團隊會隨時將他送往醫院。為此，曼德拉的家已重新裝潢，足以讓他接受特殊的醫療照顧。
