【於慶中／綜合外電報導】天主教教宗方濟各(Pope Francis)，今天在教廷梵蒂岡主持彌撒時，首次公開展示聲稱裝有首任教宗聖伯多祿(Saint Peter)遺骸的銅盒。

這個銅盒內，安置有8節骸骨，每節長約2至3公分。方濟各在聖伯多祿廣場，面對6萬名信眾，手握這個銅盒，更一度親吻銅盒致意。曾三次不認耶穌的聖伯多祿殉教後，據傳遺體就葬於梵諦岡的地下墓室，但歷代教宗從未確認過骸骨屬於誰，方濟各的舉動已引來考古學家質疑。
