【於慶中／綜合外電報導】小朋友作業交不出來，最離譜的藉口之一，就是「我寫好的作業被狗吃了」。

美國科羅拉多州13歲少女穆迪(Payton Moody)卻真的遇到這樣的事。穆迪從上個月開始，就利用大頭針和巧克力糖漿，試著塑造出一座3D立體的火山模型，日前模型接近完工，她準備隔天就可以高高興興把模型載到學校，一覺睡下去醒來就發現不得了了，因為她的整座巧克力山，都不見了，取而代之的是一屋一地的混亂，然後家人發現家裡的拉不拉多愛犬瑞吉(Reggie)一臉衰弱的趴在房間。

因為擔心巧克力對狗的毒性，穆斯和家人連忙把瑞及送去獸醫處檢查，X光一照，果真在瑞吉肚子裡照出整把亂七八糟的大頭針，醫師透過內視鏡，成功將大部分的大頭針取出，但最後還是有6隻夾不出來，最後仍然得透過外科手術，該進去把有的針清除掉。
